Living Vertically,  Serving, Leading

What Endures?

If its real, it endures.

Like Faith
that actually changes our life for good.

Discipline that’s difficult and fruitful.

Fear that must be conquered over and over.

A God who invades lives to reveal His love

My desire for chocolate sundaes.

A relationship of deep trust.

If the thing is real, it doesn’t wither or fade with time, but remains solid and persistent.

The stars
positioned by their Creator.

True love. May you know this love that surpasses knowledge.

God’s promises.

Your dream for your life.

The authentic voice of your heart.

There is a dream in your head that seems to invade your heart and it’s not letting go.
It needs to be given the life only you can give it. It just might be the life that’s been waiting for you… patiently.

As parents we pray for our children to discover and pursue their dreams. We help them, but we cannot discover it for them. Sometimes we think we can sense it because we love them so deeply, and we can encourage them with guidance and provision. But unless it is truly theirs, and they own it with their whole heart, they will not experience it as fully real and enduring. They must choose it themselves.

So it is with God and His children.

Today may you trust what’s real and give it voice.

May you believe the dream in your heart

like a child. And pursue it with unabashed faith.

And may you know that our God above is giddy with the hope that you’ll trust his provision and supernatural love to help you pursue the dream in your heart. After all, He just might have been the one to place it there.

If you ask Him, He might surprise you.

Write it down and don’t hold back.
