Living Vertically,  Our Kids, Our Family,  Serving, Leading

Imagining Creatively

As we continue to shepherd our children, I continue to see the connection between my long experience in creative marketing strategy [for clients] and life decisions that are based on a strategic plan.  This is our role in helping our kids get to a place in their life that is on purpose.

First, what’s driving you? It can’t be money; God didn’t create us to seek money. He created us to seek Him through that which glorifies Him.  There’s something inside you that is a blazing fire of purpose waiting to be ignited.

A PERFECT NEW BOOK

I’m excited to spend any individual moments I can scrap together (and I do mean “scrap”) this weekend to read IMAGINE. My husband discovered this book at precisely the right moment – to guide us as parents and as creatives. This marvelous new book is full of energizing ideas about understanding creativity, and for me, that’s directly connected to helping our children tap into their individual blazing fires. See how it’s all connected?

So here’s a slightly over simplified infographic I whipped up for today. I figure if I point to brilliance, we all stand a better chance of seeing.

And then, Lehrer’s new book: already igniting truth that breaks down so many other barriers to growth.

I hope you can wallow in whatever inspires you this weekend.
People and breezes that fill your heart with love.
Take Time to Imagine.

Hey, just because I don’t comment on every post, does not mean I don’t read them – keep them coming!
