“Excuse me, Ma’am, I have a follow-up comment?”
I will never pretend to know whether or not a struggling marriage can be saved or a person should stay and try to make it work, or dust their feet. That is one of the most painful and personal decisions any person can make.
It is true that God can do anything, and our challenge is to seek Him honestly. (P.S. Seeking God means not seeking our self (ouch).)
If we start with the unified thought that marriage is not two people, but rather a third being, you’re already most of the way there. The third being is what each partner must protect; the “US” is the most important of all.
