We decide
what or who
we allow
to control us.
Every day. We each allow someone or something to control us. Good News: We choose what that is.
That doesn’t mean we compromise or ignore or isolate. It merely means we elevate the voice that leads us to a more vertical, freer presence with our self. It means we decide how to spend our time, dedicate our thoughts and overcome the noise.
God knows, ask Him.
This is me, deciding.
I will begin by praying
I will write
I will connect with others to share energy
I will ignore distractions of foolish worry
I will trust God’s direction in my heart
I will not expect my self, my husband or my children to be perfect. Nor will I allow myself to be distracted by the flaws in others.
I will keep my commitments
I will breathe very deeply
