Maybe we should be committed.
(hmmm… does it negate the “committed” part if we say “maybe”?) Scratch that; let’s keep going.
Saturday: Today we have a two-hour drive to Riley’s weekend volleyball tournament, and we accept the opportunity to ponder yet another transformational life-moment. This week we made some key decisions.
We settle into the truth that both Steve and I signed up for a new level of accountability and growth; both of us entering into separate programs conducted by the spectacular Dr. John Townsend. The challenge (for me, at least) feels like college, and the excitement is even more so. What am I thinking??
We do know that what God has directed and bestowed upon us represents what He believes we can do.
The vision and the vibration reside in our hearts. The core vibration sends energy waves out to our gut and our imagination and sometimes it shows up as teary-eyed hope or paralyzing fear. But it’s growth, for sure. We’re elevating our game, purposefully. We are showing our kids that we’re working to elevate our game and our thinking and how we operate as adults, as parents and as committed dreamers.
The dreams are big and carry images of fabulous, experiential retreats, unique new ways to do memoir, and connecting people to a bigger story than each of our individual daily spinning.
Together, we step into the invitation to dream with more commitment. Because these dreams are a vibrating life inside of us, undeniable and forceful. Now we have someone really smart who’s asking us to write it all down.
It’s a darn good thing we’re holding onto the same lifeline, embracing the thrill of our faith.
O the glory of it all.
