Authenticity isn’t the complete story; it’s merely the place to begin. There’s usually more than one way to be authentic and more than one truth about you that can be proven, or elevated as defining. But what is it that really matters? Sometimes getting to the truth is the hardest work; but once you’ve come to that a-ha place of authentic honesty, hang on to your Sharpy.
Because there’s more than a single perfect expression of that truth. That’s when you’d better bring in the masters of message design. And get out of their way.
